Hectronic, a specialist in embedded PC platform technology has announced its affiliate membership status in the Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance. The Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance is a community of embedded and communications developers and solution providers. Hectronic is the first hardware provider in the Nordic countries to become an affiliate member. The company has been a general member since 2006.

Hectronic’s development of modules, boards and systems benefits from the membership through early alignment to new processor technologies, co-marketing activities and continual engagement with Intel. Stefan Löf, Managing Director at Hectronic is convinced that the advantages from being an Affiliate member in the Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance will benefit Hectronic’s customers.

Hectronic co-launched products based upon the Intel® Atom™ processor last year. The affiliate membership provides opportunities for Hectronic to utilize program benefits in marketing and sales activities. In addition, Hectronic will adopt products from the Intel® processor roadmap to offer customers embedded platforms that last over the customer’s product generations.
