Appointment strengthens sales force

Hectronic increases the sales force by recruiting Anders Rundqvist in the position as Field Sales & Key Account Manager. A combination of technology and business has been the main thread throughout his working career. The inspiration was initially perhaps his fathers business in marketing and sales of ball bearings.
– To me sales is mainly about communication, communication to give advice and communication to negotiate, he says. Technology and business has been a natural part of my youth.

   
Anders Rundqvist contributes to Hectronic with his extensive experience from small sized and large companies and has worked with products like embedded PCs, displays and storage media. He has held positions in sales and marketing at for instance Ericsson Components and Memstore.

His responsibilities at Hectronic includes taking over the responsibility for a number of existing customers and contributing to the strategic work to establish channels to the European market for Hectronic’s products. His philosophy involves frequent personal interaction.
– Sales is about building long-term relationships. It’s crucial to make time to talk to the customer to understand his situation, he says.

His drive comes from a passion for competition. In his younger years he played ice-hockey scoring for Dandery/Täby in the second highest league in Sweden. Scoring in sales is a satisfied customer that comes back for more business. Scoring on the ice and at work is equally joyful to Anders Rundqvist..

– To me, a buying customer that returns to receive an offer for a solution in the next project is the best proof of success.

Today he has left the ice for coaching. The style is the same coaching the team as in dialogues with customers, goal-oriented, cooperative and to the point.
