PC104
PC/104 is an embedded computer standard controlled by the PC/104 Consortium and defines both physical dimensions and computer bus. PC/104 is intended for specialized embedded computing environments where applications depend on reliable data acquisition in an often extreme environment.

The PC/104 form factor has no backplane, and instead allows modules to stack together like building blocks. The stacking of buses is naturally more rugged than typical PCs. This is a result of mounting-holes in the corner of each module which allow the boards to be fastened to each other with standoffs.

The H6045 is designed to provide a complete embedded computer board solution while offering ultra low power and X86 performance in the PC104 form factor. The product is a compact and rugged high quality Single Board Computer that includes connectivity on board for most of the common peripherals. The board is available in both a standard PC104 version as well as a board-to-board version for carrier boards.

 

The Hectronic H6045 computer board includes standard PC motherboard functions such as:

• AMD LX800 500MHz CPU or LX700 433 MHz, LX600 or LX900 on request

• VGA graphics: Analogue CRT and the choice between TFT or LVDS

• Ethernet 10/100 Mbit
• IDE Ultra DMA 100/66/33 hard disk interface
• Optimized for carrier boards
• Proprietary 32 bit PCI expansion
• ISA bus, 8/2x8-bit access

• Two serial ports, four USB ports
