The Neuron unmanned aircraft will fly for the first time in 2012. We are proud to contribute to this European demonstrator of UAV technology. Some of our embedded building blocks are part of the flight control system Hectronic developed together with Saab Aerosystems to be used in the control station on the ground. Europe demonstrates technological maturity in unmanned flying

Saab Aerosystems in Linköping, Sweden is developing the central parts of the aircraft body, the avionics computers and software, the fuel system and the flight safety critical part of the control station on the ground in the Neuron project. A philosophy has been to use Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components to a large extent, preferably from European suppliers.
