ETX modules
The ETX COM module is a highly integrated and compact (3.7 x 4.4 inch) (95 x 114 mm) and can be used in a applications much like an integrated circuit component. Each module integrates core CPU and memory functionality, the common I/O of a PC/AT, USB, audio, graphics, and Ethernet. All I/O signals as well as a full implementation of ISA and PCI buses are mapped to four high density, low profile connectors on the bottom side of the module.

Industrial/Extended Temperature

 

The H6046 Intel Atom ETX module is a compact high-performance, ultra low power ETX module using the Intel Atom Z510/530 CPU and the US15W embedded chipset with integrated graphics and media hardware acceleration. The module has serial ports, USB 2.0 ports, and IDE interface. Ethernet 10/100Mbit, Compact Flash socket, watchdog timer and temperature sensor are other features built into this versatile module. Soldered memory makes the H6046 ideal for rugged applications in harsh environments.

 

H6046 is available in two additional versions specified for wider temperature ranges.

• Industrial Temperature (–40°C to +85°C)

• Extended Temperature (–25°C to +70°C)

 

Product samples of Industrial/Extended Temperature versions of H6046 will be available to OEM customers in the fourth quarter of 2010 and volume production will begin in the first quarter of 2011.

 

Conformal coating of the board is optional.
