The SBC84831 3.5-inch Industrial SBC incorporates an ultra low-power Intel® Atom™ N270 processor up to 1.6 GHz with a 533 MHz FSB and the latest Intel® 945GSE+ICH7M chipset, which offers an excellent balance between high performance and low power consumption. The Mobile Intel® 945GSE Express chipset comes with the Generation 3.5 Intel® Integrated Graphics Engine, and the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950, which provides enhanced graphics support over the previous generation Graphics and Memory Controller Hubs. The SBC84831 supports CRT (2048 x 1536) and LVDS LCD (1600 x 1200) dual-view displays. One DDR2 SODIMM on board implements up to 2GB of system memory.

This 3.5-inch Industrial SBC comes with advanced connectivity and expansion interfaces including six COM ports (RS-232), four Hi-speed USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit LAN ports, one CompactFlash™ Type II socket, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, AC'97 Codec audio, two SATA-150 ports, and Digital I/O. Moreover, the system only requires +12V DC input. Measuring 102 mm x 146 mm, the SBC84831 is ideal for rugged and compact applications including digital signage, kiosks/POI, thin clients, digital surveillance, and industrial control.
