Appointments to meet increased demand
 
 

Hectronic meets an increased demand for embedded computers by recruiting Erik Marhaug as Key Account Manager and Robert Helenius in the role as Product Manager. This initiative further reinforces Hectronic's ability to support existing customers and new ones as well as the strategic efforts involved in selection and management of processor platforms, computer boards and modules.

 
Robert Helenius will be responsible for strategic and long-term priorities and decisions regarding the choice on what processor platforms to focus on and the range of standard products to develop based on those platforms. He has a wide range of experiences from meeting with customers and working with development of computer based test systems, programming, electronics and mechanics.

Recently employed Key Account Manager Erik Marhaug will focus on meeting with, and giving support to customers on a regular basis. Erik Marhaug contributes with many years of experience from working with custom design displays and is used to adapting what’s offered to strict requirements from the large Nordic mobile phone manufacturers.  

 

Erik Marhaug describes the challenges involved in his career so far and much of what he says is definitely relevant to what he will face in his role at Hectronic as well. The aspects of customization of displays that he has been working with include mechanics, power consumption, visibility and manufacturing quality among other things.

 

“The key to success was then, and is now, to offer the best technological and business related offer to match the customer’s requirements,” says Erik Marhaug.   

 

Explaining the advantages

Robert Helenius agrees and adds his own view. He comes back repeatedly to the joy and satisfaction in succeeding to explain the advantages for the customer involved in using the technology offered and thereby gain the customer's confidence and to keep it intact.

"Discussions with the customers are often about trying to understand their situation and requirements in order to define the offer and explain the advantages with that offer to the customer," says Robert Helenius.

Erik Marhaug and Robert Helenius were employed by Hectronic May 13 and May 20 respectively.
